Clotilde Ancarani
Belgian, 1965
Clotilde Ancarani is a visual artist and sculptor born in Chicago to an Italian father and Belgian mother. She has lived and worked in Belgium for over three decades, building a distinctive practice that explores the tension between fragility and strength. Known for transforming delicate, organic forms into enduring materials like bronze, her work captures the subtle balance of femininity, contrast, and permanence.
With over 20 years of artistic experience, Ancarani’s creations range from ethereal sculptures to functional art pieces. Her evolving themes often draw from nature and the feminine form, rendered with both lightness and raw materiality.
Her work has been exhibited at leading art and design fairs around the world, including PAD Paris, PAD London, Design Miami Basel, and BRAFA. Recent exhibitions include shows in Monaco, Brussels, Dubai, Venice, and Paris, with upcoming work to be featured at PAD London in 2025.
