Danny Ho Fong Wave Chair for Tropi-Cal Rattan and Steel, 1960s
-
Description
Danny Ho Fong designed this wave chair for Tropi-cal in the late 1960's. It consists of a steel frame and hand woven rattan. Its organic nature makes it perfect for a space that needs a little texture and a lot of sculptural quality.
It bears a remarkable resemblance to its predecessor the "Tulip Chair" designed by Erwine and Estelle Laverne for Laverne International. -
