Description
Elegant Baker chest of drawers / dresser in bookmatched black walnut veneer with recessed, hammered and etched brass drawer-pulls and a semi-finished back (ca. 1980,USA).
Ten-drawer configuration with six shallow drawers on top and four more sizable bottom drawers.
Exquisite wood grain with vertical 'stripe' detail.
Retains original factory stain (only conservative touch-ups executed - no repairs or extensive refinishing), while the brass has been left unpolished. Excellent, vintage condition sans light patina to the brass and some markings to the drawers' interiors, which are not visible from the exterior.
Retains the model number in verso and the "Baker Furniture" medallion to the drawer's interior.

Interior dimensions of six top shallow drawers: H: 3" x L: 15.63" x D: 15"
Interior dimensions of four lower larger drawers: H: 6.75" x L: 33.5" x D: 15".
