Our shop has carried several Directional and Vladimir Kagan style lounge chairs in our inventory, but what makes this design unique is the large, wide, extra padded seats angled down towards the seat back. That combination creates a cradle effect magnified by the tilt and swivel features. Once you have a seat, the chair takes over and pulls you in. It invites you to tilt back and relax. Undoubtedly, this was the design vision. Notice the curve on the front of the seat cushion - thickly padded and angled down to compliment and support the back of your knees once seated. But feel free to pull your legs up onto the seat - it's wide enough to sit cross legged. Ottoman is on casters - a great feature on rugs - so you can slide the ottoman to where you want it. Casters may also be removed for stationary positioning. Freshly reupholstered in super soft and cozy ivory white bouclé.
