Description
Rare desk by Louis Paolozzi, made in the 1950s. The box opening with two drawers on the front and the top, in blond oak, rest on a base decorated with a tablet, in solid mahogany. An extraordinary design, for this aesthetic model on all sides, with ideal dimensions. An unusual creation prized by amateurs and collectors. In very good condition after a careful renovation by an art cabinetmaker.
Louis Paolozzi: French creator of the Reconstruction, founding period of architecture and modern design. He creates furniture with flexible shapes, playing with hooks and broken lines, which refer to the Italian design of the 1950s. His creations with a graphic and refined design are often underlined by the contrast of wood species. -
