Description
Lamp by Carlo Nason for Mazzega, large "Iceberg" model made at the end of the 1960s. The curved Murano glass lampshade rests on a metal base. An extraordinary model that attests to the ingenuity of its creator.
Carlo Nason (1935-): Coming from a family of Master Glassmakers, he very early received training in the art of glassblowing. Passionate about design, he moved into glass lighting design and caught the attention of the manufacturer A.V.Mazzega in Murano. They collaborate from 1965 until the 80s, and deliver us models of emblematic lighting fixtures that are very popular today. -
