This is a beautiful barware gilt pineapple ice bucket designed by Mauro Manetti for Fonderia D’arte Firenze in Florence. This example is from the 1970s. It is really heavy and solid. Signed on the underside M.M and Made In Italy. It has been barely used, fully cleaned, and is in superb condition with very minor wear. These ice buckets are always highly sought after, especially in such good condition as this one. A chic, timeless piece, made to last, and can serve as an ornamental element as well as as a functional bar piece.
