Pair of armchairs by Auro Trivellato for A.L.I. black velvet 1972
-
Description
Pair of minimalist Italian armchairs designed by Auro Trivellato and produced by A.L.I. Tencarola in 1972. They feature four identical cylinders, and one smaller one for lumbar support, linked by two brass elements on each side, their name 5C shorten for 5 Cylinders. They have been fully restored, high-density foam cylinder replaced, and reupholstered with a soft and stretch velvet fabric from Kvradrat. They are remarkably comfortable considering their minimalistic construction. These are a really rare find, the production was really confidential.
