    3 Volumes. Dr. Oskar Fischel & Max Boehn, Modes and Manners of the Nineteenth Century. Bound in full wine calf with covers displaying gilt-tooled double borders and floral cover details. Raised bands gilt with panels displaying ornate floral gilt tooling and labels in tan morocco with gilt bordering and lettering. All of the edges are gilt with marbled endpapers and ornate floral gilt-tooled turn-ins. Includes pictures and engravings of the time. Translated by M. Edwards with an introduction by Grace Rhys. Published by J.M. Dent in London and E.P. Dutton & Co. in New York, 1909.
