Condition: Very good vintage condition.
An incredible 63" tall monumental abstract bronze sculpture by Clyde Ball (1929-2017), circa 1970s. Brutalist in style this abstracted female figure is constructed of welded bronze sheeting with applied warm patina. Surrealist as well, as the legs of the woman morph into branches or roots of a tree. A combination of Futurism, Brutalism, Surrealism and organic forms. The sculpture is mounted on a 11" H x 18" W x 18" D black painted wooden base. The sculpture itself measures 52" H. Impressed with the artist name to the top of the base. Untitled. -
