Description
Pair of Hans-Agne Jakobsson 'Tratten' Outdoor Sconces in Silver Steel. A classic Swedish design executed in solid steel. An incredibly refined design that is quintessentially Scandinavian, ideal for indoor or outdoor use.
Price is per pair. A limited run of 9 lamps available. Never used; ship in original manufacturer's packaging.
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer that started his career as assistant to Carl Malmsten. In 1951 he founded his company, Hans-Agne Jakobsson AB, in Markaryd. His designs are characterized by his commitment to working with materials that make the light in his objects pleasant and glare-free.
Authorized re-edition newly produced by Orsjo, Sweden. Professionally rewired for US electrical with custom modified back plates for mounting over US junction box. Accommodates a single 100W equivalent LED bulb (or 60W incandescent). UL listed.
Please note only one representative example of the lamps is featured in the photos. Please note that our custom steel finishing process can result in unique variation from lamp to lamp including streaking, splotching, discoloration, rust patches and other irregularities. A coat of automotive grade lacquer is applied to preserve the resulting look and prevent corrosion when exposed to the elements. This is a dynamic process with beautifully unpredictable results, giving each lamp an individualized look with its own distinct characteristics. -
