Andrea Bonfils is an American contemporary artist known for her abstract paintings, sculptures, and installations. She was born in New York City and raised in Washington D.C. Bonfils studied fine arts at the Parsons School of Design in New York City.
 
Bonfils's work is characterized by vibrant colors, organic forms, and expressive brushwork. Her paintings often incorporate natural materials such as sand, salt, and beeswax, which give them a textured and tactile quality. Her sculptures and installations often use found objects and recycled materials, such as metal and plastic, to create abstract forms that explore themes of ecology and sustainability.
 
Bonfils has exhibited her work in galleries and museums around the world, including in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Her work is held in many public and private collections, including the Guggenheim Museum in New York City and the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington D.C. She has also worked as a curator and arts educator, and has taught at universities and art schools in the United States and abroad.
