These tables are both stunning and intriguing. Cast bronze, marble and glass, these cocktail or side tables designed by Maitland Smith are evocative of Giacometti style workings. Three birds in bronze gathered around a birdbath or feeding dish bring that whimsy of Diego Giacometti, but with the refinement of classically elevated Maitland Smith design.

These tables, while designed in the 1980's are so refined, they can easily be integrated into any mid century modern, brutalist, Danish modern, or contemporary environment. These tables, as photographed with the Papa Bear chair can add a bit of refined luxury and uniqueness to any environment. Definitely conversation pieces. Gorgeous transitional tables.
