Fatima Arquitetura Interiores / FAI
American
Founded in 1960 by architects Guilherme Nunes and Sávio Visconti in Rio de Janeiro, AI, also known as Fatima Arquitetura Interiores, emerged as a pioneering force merging architecture, decoration, and art. The firm not only specialized in architectural design but also provided a platform for artistic expressions linked to architecture through its gallery space.
Beyond architectural innovation, Sávio and Guilherme sought to elevate the local scene by organizing contests focused on furniture design. FAI's furniture collection showcased pieces distinguished by their clean lines and meticulous craftsmanship. They employed high-quality materials like Rosewood, leather, cotton fabrics, and straw, reflecting a commitment to both aesthetics and functionality.
