Description
A fine period George III bowfront Hepplewhite mahogany sideboard. An imposing piece, featuring marquetry inlaid sunray corners, featherbanded drawer fronts with curved satinwood string inlay, finely cast brass lion-head ring pulls and vividly grained mahogany show-wood throughout. Deep top over bowed and scalloped apron with center cutlery drawer and two flanking deep cabinet doors, one with two slide-out trays, standing on tapered square section legs ending in spade feet. A superb example of the form.
