Description
A French Louis XIII style cherry table from the mid-19th century with lateral drawer, turned legs and carved finial. Created in France at the beginning of the reign of Napoleon III's reign, this cherry table showcases the stylistic characteristics of the Louis XIII era. A rectangular planked top sits above a simple apron presenting a side drawer, while the ensemble is raised on four turned legs. Connected to another through an H-form stretcher with central carved finial, the legs are resting on bun feet. With its elegant lines and lovely cherry patina, this French Louis XIII style table, circa 1850 will bring an undeniable touch of refinement to any living room, bedroom or foyer.
