Description
This Superb Freestanding Georgian Library Mahogany Writing Desk / Library Table has a Wonderful Natural Patina and is Crossbanded in Carefully Selected Tulipwood Veneers and is a Rare Example of the Finest English Craftmanship of the Eighteenth Century . First rate construction using the finest of timbers with elegant tulipwood cross bandings and boxwood inlays with a natural and honest patina , and with a pedigree of a fine country house set this table high on the agenda for museum or collector alike . A bonus is the original writing leather in wonderful state . Note -- Centre Drawer with additional writing slide .

Condition: Excellent warm patination to the timbers ....original mellow atmospheric leather with 2 inch square patch to rear of top . Please do not re- leather .
