Set Of Two The Hague School Side Chairs In Mahogany, Netherlands 1930's
-
Description
These two modest chairs are subtly designed in the Hague School style. DesignThe almost cubist design is averse to ornaments and radiates strength in its simplicity. Dark-colored mahogany wooden frames and its relatively large rectangular backrest immediately stand out. Straightforward with a businesslike appearance, and that is a typical style characteristic that can often be seen in furniture creations from the Hague School period.ConditionThe seats are refitted with foam and reupholstered with a burgundy red fabric while the frames have been restored in our workshop. Which resulted in their current beautiful and neat condition.
