Master artist Sax Berlin has turned his attention and considerable skills to creating this signature work, a self portrait. It's a complex piece that takes inspiration from the peace movements of mid-century western culture and delivers a vibrant image that's pure 21st century. Since returning from travels in New York Berlin has been creating massive sand pictures satisfying his desire to create public works of art on the wild coast of south west England where he has his studio. These installation pieces are transitory and made with speed to beat time and tide. Emissary of Peace is a permanent testimony to these sand pictures which are currently creating serious dialogue about the current parlous situation mankind finds itself in. By creating a permanent visionary message Berlin has elevated the call for peace to a transcendant level with this impressive work of art.
