Artek stool or side table in birch and blue laminate, designed by Alvar Aalto and manufactured by Artek in the 1950s. The model 60 stool is perhaps the most well known Aalto design and has always been attractive to people. As with a lot of Alvar Aalto's works the beauty comes from the simplicity and functionalism. This piece also works sell as a side table next to a mid century chair. The item is in great original condition with a beautiful patina and a blue linoleum top. This item can be shipped in a box which is less expensive than our typical furniture deliver.
