Description
Dynamic and asymmetrical shapes in combination with simplicity in design make this armchair an attractive eye-catcher and a typical mid-century chair which makes it an eyeful piece.
Design
The chair consists of three parts; the two armrests that also form the front and rear legs, and the seating area. What is of course most striking are the walnut wooden parts that show sharp lines on all sides. Its legs are at a nice angle and at the front legs we first see a movement inward, after which the angle goes in the other direction and rises sharply.
Condition
The walnut wood has been well taken care of in our workshop and completely restored to its former glory. It shows a softness and some beautiful veins and other beautiful drawings. The seating have been reupholstered in a burgundy color tending to red with a piping around the edges. Old springs have been replaced with a polyether seat foam for maximum comfort. As mentioned, the chair has been completely restored and is in very good condition. -
