Description
The table model '613.1' by Silvio Coppola for Bernini is a striking piece of mid-century design, embodying the timeless elegance of Italian craftsmanship. Designed in 1964, it is a part of Coppola's work during the mid-20th century, a period when he was actively creating iconic furniture pieces that embodied the minimalist and functional aesthetics of the era.
Design
Made from rich walnut, this table showcases Coppola's distinct ability to merge form and function seamlessly. The minimalist design is both robust and refined, with clean lines and a sturdy base that exudes strength while maintaining an air of sophistication. Every detail, from the tapered legs to the smooth edges, reflects Coppola's dedication to quality and aesthetic balance. The table top seems to float on top of the base, one of the highlights of this table in our view. This table is fully restored to its original glory. The walnut wood has been meticulously treated to highlight its natural grain, enhancing the table's warm, organic appeal. Every detail, from the tapered legs to the smooth edges, reflects Coppola's dedication to quality and aesthetic balance. This piece is also signed.
