AN EXCEPTIONAL PAIR OF GEORGE III ORMOLU MOUNTED CUT-GLASS WALL LIGHTS BY WILLIAM PARKER

The oval foliate and ball-beaded back plate supporting an ormolu mounted cut-glass egg, drop hung van dyke canopy and pineapple finial. The receiver plate subdivided by seven six sided branches on three levels, five supporting van dyke drip pans and candle nozzles; a further two upper kick arms mounted with canopies and pineapple finials. The central spire unusually mounted by twin J arm branches, mounted with drop hung canopies and pineapple finials, further issuing a serpent down arm supporting the wall-light's drapery of pear shaped chains and finial drops.
