Description
This sculpture is titled "Sounds Like A Tall Tower" and is crafted from 49 silicon-bronze rods affixed with silver to a solid brass base. The work was created in 2014 by Val Bertoia at the Bertoia Studio in Bally, Pennsylvania. This series is a continuation of the sonambient works he collaborated on with his father, Harry Bertoia in the 1970s. This example is not only aestetically pleasing but was designed to be interactive by producing a beautiful chime when the rods are shuffled.
Includes Certificate of Authenticity from the Bertoia Studio. -
