"In the tiny town of Emigrant, MT just outside of the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park, lies a little treasure known as the Old Saloon. It's a charming dive bar that has welcomed some of the biggest music talent passing through and the local drinkers that keep the liquor stocked daily. It's a place where you'll see a familiar face or end up staying until closing time with new folks who treat you like family. The bartenders give you just the right amount of sass accompanied by a cold one along with a smirk if you're lucky. For this photo, I reached out to some of the regulars who frequent this bar and staged a setup around the pool table. My biggest goal was convincing the owner to let us bring a horse into the bar and have her interact with the scene. He looked at me with hesitation but also an intrigued look on his face. As you can see we made it happen. As the horse paused for just a brief moment and looked at one of the cowboys taking his turn on the table, I knew that was my shot. This photo showcases the chaotic and crazy times that have taken place here at this history-rich watering hole. From bar fights to two strangers finding love, these walls have seen it all. I call this artwork, "Trouble At The Old Saloon." A little bit of trouble never hurt anyone." -
