This beautiful Gorham Sterling Silver Decor Pattern Flatware Full Service for 12 originates from the United States, Circa 1950. A complete flatware set rendered in sterling silver in the Decor Pattern by Gorham, the design of each piece features asymmetrical curvilinear detailing with a floral detail. The linework has brilliant attention to detail and proportions, curving into and around other elements and precisely rendered. The various details operate individually as well as being cohesive throughout the entirety of each piece. This set is crafted with superb quality and well weighted. Complete to serve twelve with all of the utensils listed: 12 Dinner Knives, 12 Dinner Forks, 12 Salad Forks, 12 Soup Spoons, 12 Tea Spoons, Serving Pieces: Salad Tongs, Master Butter, Gravy Ladle, Sugar spoon, Pie Server, Fork and Spoon Serving Set. A notable pattern from Gorham, which for almost 200 years has been at the forefront of creating high-quality sterling silver products. Established in Rhode Island in 1831, the company is renowned for its expert craftsmanship and groundbreaking designs in silverware. This service will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
