Description
This is a unique Rustic Brazilian Walnut and Peroba wood table that was created in the mid-19th century in the Colonial Brazilian style. The large 56" diameter of this table is highly desirable, enabling the table to comfortably seat 6 or squeeze 8. We believe that the current current Peroba wood top is an old replacement and that the original top was perhaps marble or leather covered. The peroba top brings the table to a more rustic or country level--allowing the table to incorporate into a multiplicity of design aesthetics from mountain ski retreat to Spanish or Portuguese Colonial or high-end rustic design. The table would make a stunning entry center table as well as a dinning table. The table is very sturdy and is being polished with several coats of hard paste wax.
