Description
An Italian late 20th century loggia. This loggia is made of Marble di Latte, a kind of mixed stone using marble as its primary material. The sturdy loggia has two curved benches. The back mimics that of a covered button upholstery piece in incredible detail. The backs have a mustache shape to them and are crowned with a metal scroll detail. The arms are in the design of seated griffons or winged lions with three in total, one on each end and one in the middle separating the benches. Each bench is additionally supported by lion paws in the middle. Behind the benches, there are three square pedestals. Each pedestal supports a tall column. The columns in turn support a a rounded crown also made of marble di latte. This monumental scale piece is in great condition with wear consistent with age and use. This Loggia is a showstopper in any garden area. Please note this comes in more than 20 pieces and requires specialist shipping, packing, assembly, and installation. This the finest example of gardenalia in my collection.
