Description
This exquisite antique Adams-style hand-painted satinwood sideboard, also ideal as a credenza, combines timeless elegance with refined craftsmanship. Shaped in a graceful demilune, it features three front drawers with elegant gilt brass pulls, complemented by a side door on each end for additional storage. The exterior showcases a soothing color palette of orange, green, brown, and red, adorned with delicate florals and foliate wreaths, while the centerpiece reveals an exquisite hand-painted goddess motif. A finely detailed family crest decorates the upper drawer, lending an aristocratic touch in classic Adams style.
The top surface is similarly embellished, mirroring the sideboard’s intricate motifs and adding to its visual appeal from every angle. Resting on four tapered and painted legs, two at the front and two at the back, the piece maintains an air of grace and stability. Measuring 36 inches in height, 50 inches in width, and 23 inches in depth, this versatile piece is well-suited for use as a sideboard, console, entryway statement, or server. With only minor wear consistent with age, it remains in excellent antique condition, ready to complement any decor with its classic charm and functionality. -
