Description
This great sterling silver child's set of flatware was designed and produced by William Spratling in the 1940's. It's in great condition. William Spratling’s unique blending of traditional Mexican Colonial and Pre-Columbian designs with modern forms have created a place for him amongst the Masters of 20th Century Modern Silver world wide. Numerous books have been written either by or about him and he was the subject of the film, “The Man From New Orleans”, in 1948.
