Two Puppies Playing
American, unsigned, probably New England.
Pastel on paper.
16 ½” x 20 ¼” with frame.
Excellent condition, housed in original gilt frame with original backboard and glass.
Provenance: Private Collection, Cape Cod; Purchased at Eldred’s, MA.
A lovely charming folky depiction of two puppies playing executed with a wonderful use of pastel colors.
