Description
Outstanding oval bentwood Art Nouveau side table from the renowed Austrian company of Jacob & Josef Kohn around 1910. Designed by none other than the well known Austrian designer and founder of the famous "Wiener Werkstaette" - Josef Hoffmann, this oval beechwood side table comes with an impressive timeless shape and fits perfect to modern as well as traditional interior designs. The oval shape in combined with this special crossed leg base just looks fantastic. The beech wood has been trimmed to the typical "red" mahogany look. An additional smaller compartment floats between the four slim columns right under the top. This J&J Kohn bentwood side table by Josef Hoffmann comes in great restored condition with a hand polished shellac finish and shows the famous paper mark "JACOB & JOSEF KOHN" on the bottom.
