Description
This exquisite alabaster sculpture of a young girl, an Italian creation from the second half of the 19th century (circa 1850-1900), has been masterfully restored to its original charm. The delicate craftsmanship captures the innocence and grace of childhood, with intricate detailing in the flowing hair, soft folds of the dress, and natural posture.
The alabaster material exudes a soft, luminous quality, enhancing the sculpture’s lifelike appearance. Standing on a round base, the figure embodies the refined artistic sensibilities of 19th-century Italian sculptors. Perfectly restored, the piece shows no visible signs of repair, maintaining its authenticity and beauty.
This timeless work is ideal for collectors of fine art and antiques, offering a striking focal point that celebrates both history and exceptional craftsmanship.
This is an antique and having been around for a long time, it will show signs of wear. Antique pieces have very much sought-after character and associated flaws. Please review photos for condition & contact us with questions! -
