Description
The SC23 executive desk, designed by the renowned Italian architect and designer Franco Albini, is a striking example of mid-20th-century modern design. Created in the 1950s, this desk embodies Albini’s masterful approach to blending form and function with meticulous attention to detail.
Design
This large desk features an elegant and minimalist structure that is visually appealing from all angles. A distinctive design element is the integrated cabinet at the front of the desk, which provides convenient shelving for storage while contributing to its overall sculptural quality. In the back it also has a footrest. The cabinet’s clean lines and thoughtful placement enhance the desk’s usability without compromising its aesthetic.
The desk rests on two uniquely designed legs, each branching into three slender, angled feet. This innovative base not only ensures stability but also adds a sense of lightness and sophistication to the piece. The balance of geometric precision and organic flow in the leg design reflects Albini’s signature style.
Condition
The desk is in good condition and will receive a 'touch-up' from our warehouse before shipping. -
