Description
This exceptional Louis XVI-style commode, crafted in France around 1820, embodies the elegance and craftsmanship of the early 19th century. Designed to impress, this piece features a striking combination of rich mahogany wood, intricate gilt bronze accents, and a removable white marble top, making it a timeless addition to any space.
The commode is thoughtfully designed for both beauty and functionality. It includes two upper drawers flanking the top, with a single door beneath the right drawer and four additional drawers on the left side. Each drawer is adorned with ornate gilt bronze hardware, adding a touch of opulence and highlighting the superior artistry of the period. Two architectural gilt bronze columns frame the front of the piece, enhancing its neoclassical design and providing an air of sophistication. The removable white marble top further elevates its elegance, offering a versatile and durable surface for display or practical use.
