NATHALIE GRENON (b. 1954) for FONTANA ARTE
A pure and elegant pair of modernist table lamps by French architect Nathalie Grenon for Fontana Arte. A stunning rectangular frame in exceptionally thick beveled glass cradles a rounded silk shade, supported by polished nickel mounts anchored in a graceful oval base. Designed for the original Bulgari showroom, for which Grenon served as architect, and put into limited production by Fontana Arte during a short period in the 1990's.
Rewired for use in the United States with four standard-base bulbs; the shade has been newly reupholstered.
