ESPINA DE FLOR, bronze chair
-
Description
ESPINA DE FLOR, is an impressive bronze chair, hand-crafted in the lost-wax technique by emerging Mexican artist Emilio Flores. Flores is a 2nd generation bronze sculptor. Emilio’s work explores the visual patterns created by the fragmentation of organic matter and how these patterns can reflect social, historical, and personal events. This series does not aim to replicate nature but instead proposes new configurations—patterns that feel organic yet do not exist in nature, suggesting potential forms.
The chair introduces functionality, reminding us that in nature, forms are shaped by purpose and order. -
