Offered for sale: a rare Art Deco Rene Lalique Perfume Pavots d'Argent (Silver Poppy) by Roger & Gallet released in 1926.
In 1862 Armand Roger together with his brother-in-law Charles Gallet formed the Roger & Gallet Company in Paris, France. They were renowned in their many perfume and toiletries items and worked extensively with Rene Lalique in creating beautiful and memorable designs. Pavot d'Argent is a molded clear glass bottle presented in a luxurious embossed and colorful oval shaped box. Both bottle and box is in excellent condition. The bottle is still in its sealed condition although there is evidence of some evaporation of its contents. Also present is the rare exterior packaging box, although one tab has become detached.
Marked R. Lalique on bottom of the bottle and RL in small print at the end of the colorful presentation box. Bottle measures 2 1/2 " x 3 1/4" tall. - More Information
