-
Description
These pieces are priced and sold as individual pieces. 2 rare and elegant French mid-century Consoles in the Modern Neoclassical Spirit and composed of patinated wrought iron bases supporting solid slabs of pure rock crystal. Each console is priced and sold individually and reflect the style of Jean-Michel Frank.
These unique pieces embody the pure, timeless Neoclassic spirit with X-form stretcher united by a ball form in the center of the piece. The profile is slim allowing the consoles to function in narrower spaces while maintaining a daring, sensuous appeal. Dramatic ball feet anchor the consoles to the earth providing solidity and dignity. The solid rock crystal tops allow the transparency of light to pass through them and provide a luminescent, eternal quality. France's most important designer of the 1930 period, Jean-Michel Frank, frequently used slabs of similar rock crystal in his timeless and sought after designs. Priced and Sold as Individually.
