Featured here is rare and elegant armchair with a matching ottoman by German born furniture designer, Tommi Parzinger. The highback armchair with downturned arms with a loose seat cushion is raised on a dark mahogany frame with slightly splayed legs which repeated in the the ottoman's design.
After he moved to the States to escape the rise of Facisim, Parzinger began designing in America ,eventually becoming the director of modern furniture for Charak. Following his success, he later opened Parzinger Originals on East 57th Street which further cemented his reputation as a master furniture craftsman of luxurious quality pieces to an upscale market comprised of renowned interior designers and celebrity clients.
This rare Parzinger set from this latter period, epitomizing exquisite lines and superb craftsmanship would be a beautiful addition to any room and is compatible with just about any design style. -
