Pair of diminutive Scandinavian Modern lounge/armchairs (ca. 1960s).
Composed of sculptural walnut frames supporting compact seats newly reupholstered in green leather, distressed by design, with diamond-pattern button tufted fronts and brass nail bordered backs
Thoughtfully designed and expertly crafted with deeply carved walnut arms above a lower upholstered armrest option, curved banded backrests, and spindle-form legs, enhancing the modernist aesthetic of an otherwise modest form.
Excellent, vintage condition - frames have been refinished, chairs have been reupholstered, and the foam has been changed. Only a few minor scuffs remain to the wood, and the leather shows a line to one of the seats that is a naturally occurring flaw within the leather itself.
