Description
Ceramic vase from the Replicant series by artist Jamie Diamond.
Replicant is an artistic exploration of the convergence between traditional physical mediums and emerging technologies. By integrating photography, artificial intelligence, and clay, the project investigates the boundaries between the organic and the synthetic, the human and the machine. Through this fusion, the work questions how identity, presence, and creativity are reshaped in a technologically mediated world. The work invites viewers to reflect on how technology influences not just how we create art, but how we perceive ourselves in an increasingly digitized reality. By blending tactile materials with algorithmic processes, the project challenges conventional definitions of authorship, embodiment, and consciousness—offering a multi-layered commentary on the future of human existence. -
