J.T. Kalmar Rectangular Textured Glass & Brass Chandelier, Pendant Lamp, 1950s
-
Description
This is a beautiful Mid-Century chandelier / pendant light from the 1950s, crafted by J.T. Kalmar in Vienna, Austria. The chandelier features brass and white-painted metal hardware, complemented by two thick, textured "melting ice" glass elements that come together to form an elegant rectangular shape. The glass pieces are held in place by four discreet yet charming brass brackets. The lamp gives off a beautifully soft and comfortable light. It is in very good condition, showing only a lovely light patina on the brass. This modernist lamp offers a single light source and has been newly rewired for safe and carefree use in your country. The current drop height is 30 inches, but we are happy to customize the length according to your specifications, including the option of a longer rod. The glass itself has a height of 13.5 inches.
