French Art Deco Acid-Etched Vase Signed Charder Le Verre Français, c. 1925
This striking French Art Deco vase is a rare and exceptional example of the work produced by Charles Schneider under the Le Verre Français line, signed Charder on the foot. Crafted in the 1920s, the vase features deeply acid-etched swirl motifs arranged in a geometric pattern across a bold and perfectly balanced teardrop form. The surface is richly textured and dimensional, catching the light beautifully across the hand-etched contours.
The coloration is particularly refined—an unusual orangey pink hue that glows warmly in ambient light and shifts subtly depending on placement. The elegant flared rim and weighted foot enhance the form’s poise and sculptural quality, making this not only a vessel but a work of art.
In perfect condition with no chips or restorations, this signed Charder vase represents the finest in French Art Deco glassmaking. A superb collector’s piece and an exceptional decorative accent for any refined interior. - More Information
