Description
An early English Carolean metamorphic table from the reign of Charles II in desirable bog oak having a boarded top over an undertier on sturdy turned legs joined by lower square section box stretcher. Readily convertible using removable pins from table formation into a high back chair with shapely curved arms. Probably made for a small cottage with limited space. Now an attractive conversation piece or accent table. Table dimensions: 30 1/2" wide x 21" deep x 30 1/2" high. Chair dimensions: 23" wide x 21" deep x 49" high x 18 1/2" seat height
