Description
Influenced by the Los Angeles based Light and Space art movement, Luma Lights combine color saturation and illumination to produce atmospheric installations. Various opacities and transparencies of material, light and color are layered to create visual resonance. Compositions can range from subtle and fluid monochromatic gradients to strikingly vivid and vibrant interactions of pure color.
Launched in 2003, the Fiorucci Pink Luma Light makes reference to the iconic Italian fashion brand of the '80s that crystallized an avant-garde style blending punk, high fashion and pop culture, contributing to a look and vibe that inspired the club culture of the '80s era and continues to influence subculture fashion and style today. The Fiorucci Pink Luma Light brings cool kid Italo Disco atmosphere to any space.
