Description
A beautifully crafted mid-century fall-front desk and bookshelf unit made in Argentina, circa 1950. Constructed from richly toned sapele wood, known for its fine grain and warm, lustrous finish, this multifunctional piece combines elegant form with practical design. The upper section features open shelving for books or display, while the lower portion includes a fall-front writing surface that reveals a open interior compartment for storage all above a lower section with three drawers. A fine example of South American modernist craftsmanship, blending utility with sculptural presence.
