Tiffany Studios produced the gilt bronze and leaded glass Venetian Lamp to coordinate with the company’s popular Ventian Desk Set.

The cone-shaped shade comprises a pattern-based design of round and oval medallions, the oval medallions depicting alternating motifs of fleur de lis and palmettes in green against richly mottled sky blue glass, the upper register with smaller circular medallions depicting alternating geometric motifs in red, green, and golden yellow glass. Each medallion is bordered by mottled soft yellow glass which also forms the upper and lower border rows.

The shade sits on a sculptural and reticulated gilt bronze base featuring fine intricate scrollwork motifs which correspond to the designs of the Venetian Desk Set, accented by a band of pressed round glass jewels in a deep shade of green. A relief design of ermine forms a border at the foot.

Both the shade and base of this authentic Tiffany lamp are signed.
