Description
A pair of Minimalist Andirons by Jacques Adnet (1900 -1984).
With their simple, modern shape, clean lines and dark matte finish, these sculptural forms strike a balance between Adnet’s love for both modernity and tradition, while the spherical finials hint at Bauhaus and Cubist influences.
Jacques Adnet (1900–1984) was a French architect and designer best known for his modernist furniture, combining clean lines with materials like leather, glass, and metal.
Much of his postwar work exudes a refined elegance mixed with functional form. - More Information
