Description
A large, framed color photograph entitled "The Blue Door" by Sylvia Plachy (American/Hungarian, b. 1943) created in 2008. The archival C-print photograph depicts the artist's son actor Adrien Brody in an intriguing side profile while he reaches to open a door with a painted figure that aligns with his own silouette.
The image sight is 23.25" h by 15.75"w and it is housed in an ebonized wood frame with white mat under plexiglass.
Signed, dated and titled verso as shown. From an American collection.
Sylvia Plachy is a Hungarian American photographer. Plachy's work has been featured in many New York City magazines and newspapers and she "was an influential staff photographer for The Village Voice.
